Bay Area Reporter weighs in on Androphilia
Androphilia was recently reviewed in the Bay Area Reporter, an old gay establishment paper based in the gay capital of San Francisco. It’s a fair review, that it takes issue more with the aggressive tone of the book than anything else. Androphilia is a manifesto. It’s an opinion and a call to action. The last line, which the author guesses was meant as a slam…but took as a compliment.
“Instead of tactful friendly fire, Malebranche’s prose feels like a verbal blowtorch to the forehead.”
Shout out to Mr. Jim Piechota for having the brains and the balls to write a review that does NOT sound like it was written by a delusional, hysterical queen.

Jack Malebranche on Think & Ask
Kiss those gay bars and gay pride parades good-bye as a new generation of homosexual men rises to empower themselves away from stereotypes evolved out of the infamous Stonewall riots of June 1969. The time is right to define a new identity said author Jack Malebranche of Portland, OR.
Androphilia: A Manifesto Rejecting the Gay Identity, Reclaiming Masculinity, written by Jack Malebranche describes the “gay lifestyle” as one that replaced true masculinity with self-loathing, perpetual victim hood, effeminacy, and overall a synthetic approach to life.
Planet Homo had a few words to say about the interview. Spitting Image mentioned the article as well…
